Countdown to the Moon

Tasbeeh is a Chemical Engineering student in Jordan. She worked on a project developing space suits and has a strong interest in space. We had a wonderful conversation about going back to the moon (she knew and thinks it is great!), the future of humanity (who can say, but hopefully we go far), and if she would take a trip to space (you bet, but only to visit). We had a few internet connectivity issues, but something that Starlink will eventually solve.

Mars Matters is a new channel dedicated to providing the public with educational material about humanity’s current and future efforts to settle the Red Planet. ?? We are currently working on a video series exploring the various challenges associated with humans getting to and living on Mars, where researched solutions to each of the technical, financial, and political challenges will be presented.

Bryan and I had a great conversation, both on camera and off camera. He shared some of his life experiences and some key choices that he made in his journey. He talks to people at the local grocery store (HEB) to make new connections and was understanding of the challenges that I face with approaching people for my project.
